For me it was a thing called the media cube (scam alert), Christine bought a blu ray player during our current days of streaming but STEVE … oh STEVE … he bought a trip he couldn’t afford and couldn’t go because then he couldn’t afford air fare. Sometimes things look good online or on TV that we don’t really need but we do it anyway.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What’s something you bought that really in hindsight was unnecessary?

  • College textbooks. I never even open them and have gotten through my classes just fine.
  • Internet. Our family was able to make it about 20 years without internet or cable at home, but then we finally caved. It was necessary to have the internet during COVID. I’m so ready to unplug again.
  • Like, all 50 pairs of my Lularoe leggings.
  • Instant Pot & Air fryer… Haven’t used either.
  • Years ago, my husband bought a cargo carrier to go on top of our van when we travel. WE HAVE NEVER USED IT! Time to change the password on our Amazon account.
  • Lately I have an obsession with buying perfumes from TJmaxx and Marshall’s that I’ve never smelled, some are hits and some are misses... I don’t know why I do this!! I have my go to scents that I always use, but still buy
  • 50-70% of my clothes and shoes
  • Everything I buy on Amazon
  • A bidet during a TP shortage
  • A RV..... I have no way to pull it I guess it's a she-shed now
  • My new car
  • Quesadilla maker
  • A vibrating Groot plushie
  • A mortar and pestle
  • Oh so many things lol....I love kitchen gadgets and buy them all the time and they rarely get used. A cherry pitter, a special cutting tool to cut multiple cherry or grape tomatoes or grapes at the same time, a stick butter holder for corn on the cob, the list could go on and on
  • Where should I start!? My recent utensil purge had me getting rid of a strawberry huller & lemon zester.
  • I bought a meat grinder attachment & never used it. I bought the veggies slicer & never used it.
  • That damn Lincoln MKZ
  • Horses!! Well those I feel are necessary but the thousands of dollars worth of crap in my tack room isn’t
  • Probably everything that I bought from Hobby Lobby that’s in my house!
  • A bread machine
  • When booking a trip for May 2020 before the pandemic we bought separate trip insurance. Turns out they don't cover pandemics . It all worked out in the end with a different policy, but who would have thought that would happen
  • College degree
  • Bionic minnow
  • a shop vac, but currently the box is holding up the boxed air fryer that probably wasn't necessary either
  • Kitchen crap
  • Kevin Trudeau's memory tapes.
  • Leaf blower with attachments.
  • Our boat
  • Wedding ring
  • Lingerie
  • A vasectomy
  • My husband says everything I buy we don't need. Says the man who buys motorcycle parts he don't need
  • Hubby bought a $500 piano lesson on cassette tapes. Dreamed of learning and never used so donated it.
  • A bread maker, bought it 5 months ago and never used it
  • Timeshare!
  • About 70% of baby gadgets.
  • A wedding dress
  • World Ventures
  • 2 curling irons that weren’t cheap. Like if I can’t figure how to use one. I probably won’t figure out the other one yet I buy them both and why do I keep buying journals??? I have 5 not written in
  • About 90% of my Amazon purchases
  • High heels. I love them. They are so pretty, but my feet won't allow me to wear them comfortably anymore. That and I'm not graceful so I would be a walking disaster
  • Clothing I think is cute from goodwill that I won’t wear in the end.... pops that are odd, Mini Cooper hot wheels for my collection…
  • Beanie babies...lots of beanie babies.
  • 1000’s of phone chargers
  • Most of my tshirts, the things for my vehicle that will make it easier to “keep it clean”, the ottomans with storage that nobody uses, toilet paper roll holders, napkins, dressers for my children, socks for my children, coats also for my children... I could go on F O R E V E R!
  • Ask Amazon, they know.
  • I asked for a ukulele for Christmas and got one lol
  • My Expedition. We are a family of 4. Kids are teenagers and driving. Really didn't need something this big or large, but I love it and will never go back to a car.
  • My marriage license. Bahahah
  • A cover for my grill because I keep it in my garage
  • An item a bought that was unnecessary was a second bulldog.....I love him so much, but my life is now 100% controlled by my dogs instead of 50% ‍♀️
  • When we decided to cut the cable, I ordered an antenna. It is still in the box 3 or 4 years later
  • a Hammock, we bought it more for the stand cause we have a really good hammock. Thought it would work for ours...Nope! Too lazy to return it so took it to our son. He still hasn't used it either this might be the summer though lol
  • Tqotd? My husband
  • This big ass house that someone (me) has to clean!!!
  • 8 cases of Girl Scout Cookies.
  • Two weddings
  • Signed joe exotic action figure. Paid $500 for it.
  • A planner for 2020
  • I woke up yesterday morning to see that I ordered a new adult toy and THREE HUNDRED flavor ice Popsicles on Amazon... I mean 300 Popsicles, completely unnecessary
  • **not for air: Musical butt plug
