  • About 10 years ago I was babysitting for this super rich family they owned a big old Victorian style house. The little boy would be up in his room playing, by himself, and giggling. So I asked him who he was talking to, and he said, I shit you not, "the people that live in the attic" I never babysat for them again.
  • Creepiest thing: My then 3yo daughter, Carolyn looked at our nanny and said: Miss Liz? Are you gonna die tomorrow? Liz: I hope not! Carolyn: you better pray to God that you don't die tomorrow. Liz extremely creeped out: Dear God, please don't let me die tomorrow, Amen
  • I was tucking in my two year old. He said, Good bye dad," I said, "No, we say goodnight." He said, " I know. But this time it will be goodbye." He immediately closed his eyes and was asleep.
  • TQOTD: My son woke up with night terrors a lot when he was about 4. And he always climbed into my lap and said mama..mama. over and over. One night this happened he also pointed at the ceiling and said " mama mama what's that!?" And dug his nails into my neck trying to get closer to me. I don't know so what you were seeing, but I wasn't going to look lol

  • When my now 21 year old was about 3 he was giving all of his little sister (who was about 1) all of his snacks. When I asked him why he didn't eat his snack and gave it to his sister he replied I am fattening her up so we can eat her in the end
  • At my little sisters babysitter has a house that is like one hundred years old and my sister keeps says her teacher is sitting on the couch but nothing is there😳
  • My daughter is 11 now but she was 4 when my mother in law passed away. I was in doing laundry and she ran in set a place for grandma and asked if we were eating with Grandma again tonight. Chills serious chills.
  • when my oldest, now 11, was 2, we had put her to bed and turned on one of the paranormal activity movies. at the climax of scary, turn around to see homegirl standing in the hallway staring at the screen looking like the Grudge. 2 days later she introduced us to her imaginary friend, "best friend witch". best friend witch stuck around for a good year. Nope. nooooope.
  • Creepiest thing was 6 months to the day after my father passed away which the date was Dec 11th my 11 year old son said that he saw grandpa and Grandpa wished him Merry Christmas as he was standing at the corner by my childhood house and he was walking the dog that also had passed away. This was as my son was riding his bike back to my childhood home as I was in the house helping my mom make out Xmas cards and my son came in the house white as a ghost
  • Hopefully Steve or Adam will get this reference: My ex's 7 year old nephew and I were playing Minecraft and he was teaching me how to make each of the tools out of the various materials; rock, iron, gold. He paused for a second and looked me dead in the eye and said "Never waste dimonds on a hoe". No truer words have been said. This same nephew also once said to me, "You smell different when you're awake." Love you Jay, but you freak Auntie Mel out.
  • I've heard my 6 year old tell me that hes seen my best friend who died when he was 1. My son will talk to him constantly. But one day when my son was like 3, he walked up to me and gave me a hug and said "uncle says he loves you" and walked away
  • I heard my 3 year old son talking to someone in his room from a few rooms away. I went to ask him who he was talking to and he pointed and said "that angel on the ceiling" 😳
  • When my daughter was 2, she was playing with her Barbies and stopped, looked at me, and said “your Grandfather isn’t coming through the door anymore.” My grandparents had all passed by the time I was 3.
  • When my daughter was around 4/5, she was sleeping in my room. In the middle of the night she turned on the light, when I asked her what she was doing, she looked at me and said "are you my mommy?". After a couple minutes, I realized that she was sleep talking and walking.
  • My son use to sit in his high chair and giggle at the wall. One day he said, Your grandpa is so funny. My grandpa died 2 years before.

  • At about 2.5 my daughter would be playing in our living room with me. And suddenly stop with a blank face and fear in her eyes... then point at the fire place and say “she’s coming” she did this for about a month. She never came but it freaked us all out
  • When my son was about 5, I went to his room at night to check on him. I thought he was sleeping until he said “Mom, there’s a tall, dark shadow with red glowing eyes behind you.” (At that time I was a single Mom-he and I were the only ones that lived in the house.)
  • Driving by a cemetery, my daughter (age 3 at the time) told us her real parents and her brother were buried there.
  • When my daughter was little, 3 or 4 years old, she told my grandma that she had a brother but he died. She doesn't have any siblings, she's the only child. Another time she was looking out the window and was waving and giggling. My mom asked her who she was waving at and she said that little boy over there with a basketball. There was no one there. We were wondering how she knew what a basketball was at that age.
  • The creepiest thing my daughter ever said… She was sitting on my lap and sat bolt upright, looked down the hallway, and then quickly buried her face into me and said she wanted to go to bed. I put her to bed and immediately in bed she started pulling the covers over her head And acting scared. The next day on the way to daycare she told me that boy and girl don't scare me anymore. There was no boy and girl down that hallway.
  • My daughter said to me that there is a woman who watches her watch movies in her room and sleeps on the ceiling above her bed when she sleeps. She also says it does not like me and wants to eat my heart. My kid watches Elmo and Dinosaur Train. Where the hell did he get this?
  • My 7-year-old son had an imaginary friend, who was an older man with a white beard whose name was The Captain. The Captain would tell my son as they played that as he got older, he would need to start killing other people and the Captain would tell him exactly who needed to be killed and when. My son would come to us crying saying that he didn't want to kill, but the Captain said he had no choice and that killing would get easier the more he did it.
  • I've got 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Every one of them would sit in this specific corner of my house and start talking to "the man in the corner". A man i couldn't see. But they said wears an orange hat and the camo and likes talking to them

  • Creepiest thing I ever heard a kid say came from my own. My wife, my son and myself were in another state visiting family. We were going past a cemetery and the kid from the backseat asks what all those people are doing at the cemetery. My wife assumes there is a funeral going on, so that's what she tells him. As I'm driving I look in the rearview mirror....not a single person in the cemetery at that time
  • Well this isn't exactly creepy it is strange. I had a little boy ask me how cells broke down food into energy in the body. He's about seven. I began to explain what happens simply. But he stopped me and said no HOW does it happen. A seven-year-old boy wanted to know on the molecular level how cells break down food into energy

  • When I was 15 my grandmother was in the hospital. My little brother who was 8 made her a card. I told home I would give it to her when I saw her in the Hospital the next day. He said no , put it in her coffin. She died that night , we put the Card in her coffin.....
  • We were getting my two-and-a-half year-old daughter out of the bath one night, when my wife and I were briefing her on how important it was that she keep her privates clean. She casually replied, "Oh, nobody 'scroofs' me there. They tried one night. They kicked the door in and tried, but I fought back. I died and now I'm here." She said this like it was nothing.
  • My 5-year-old at the time had night terrors and would scream in her sleep. One night I said, "Mama's here, it's okay." She looked at me still asleep and screamed, "Mama? But who is that behind you?"

I had so many eyes on me questioning what in the hell kind of relationship my 11 year old son and I have 😂
  • I was sound asleep, when at around 3am I was woken by my 4-year-old daughters face inches from mine. She looked right into my eyes and whispered, "I want to peel all your skin off." The backstory is that I had been sunburned the previous week and was starting to peel. Took a few moments of horror for me to make that connection.
  • My son had a teddy bear that he would always talk to. One time I decided to listen in on what he was saying. I heard him whisper to his bear, "I can't kill him . . . he's my only daddy!"
  • "So, I shouldn't throw him in the fire?" My 3-year-old daughter said the first time holding her baby brother.
  • My young daughter said, "Daddy, I love you so much that I want to cut your head off and carry it around so I can see your face whenever I want."
