Why Was Your Weekend Amazing? – #TQOTD

Today we have a very easy #TQOTD, just tell us why your weekend rocked!

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Why was your weekend amazing?

• My weekend was amazing because— a year ago my husband and I decided to adopt from foster care— and this weekend we finally met the children (two brothers) we plan to adopt. They were adorable and amazing and I can’t wait to bring them home.
• I got to attend church. I went to an outdoor get together. I put together my own grill. I worked in my yard for hours this weekend. I repotted a few plants. I made myself a She-Shed!
• Because me and 2 of my granddaughters had a slumber party in the pool!
• Spending my last weekend off with my babies (I’m a hairstylist and we open back up tomorrow)
• My husband and I went to our campsite in the U.P. just the 2 of us. We also enjoyed a meal inside of a restaurant. Awesome weekend.
• My family and I spent the day with my grandma yesterday and today, was spent kayaking.
• Bought a big ass boat
• Friends can over and kidnapped us to go to the beach. It was very relaxing
• hardly had to wear a face mask. I hate having things on my face. Bugs the hell out of me, I just want to throw whatever it is
• First bon fire of the season, cook out on the grill..celebrating 19th b-day of one of our boys...younger kids playing without a care in the world
• It wasn’t amazing but ok. I got done some painting on the Wishingwell my dad made and also rod iron railing, front door. Mom will be excited when she gets home from the hospital. Got a lot done and even had a time for a few cocktails woo hoo
• Had a cookout/bonfire with some friends yesterday and spent today with my parents and family.
• We spent the weekend in St Ignace and it was beautiful up there! Even took a plane ride around the bridge and island!
• My husband made me a beautiful fire pit area in the backyard
• Beautiful boat ride to Muskegon and back. The lake was amazing.
• Bought and planted some pretty flowers and had a party for mom and niece with a bon fire. Sunday didn’t get out of jammies and sat on the deck all day ❤️❤️
• Got the kayaks out ❤️
• Weekend at the cottage! Nothing better than being where cell service sucks and the sun is shining
• Went to silver lake and then Traverse city for my birthday!!
• My first grand baby!!
• Jogged, rode my bike, walked with my son, done with the dreaded task of grocery shopping.
• Yes!! Kyaking..cookout for a memorial followed by Sunday fishing ♡♡♡
• Awesome three days at the Pink Patio in Saugatuck!!!
• Garage sales, family and lots of time outside!!
• It wasn't...between having no power for 4 days and having our parrot put down last night, I'm glad the weekend's over.
• I was upnorth relaxing...nothing better❤
• Oh that's simple. Friends, bon fires and beers
• Because I got to spend it with my love and my puppy love
• The husband got a new a kayak, floated down The Thorn Apple River...so he was pretty happy & was willing to do the honey do list!
• Trail riding in the Manistee forest
• Because I put an offer in on a house and it was accepted! After 5 offers on 4 houses I finally got my house!!
• Beach Time!
• Travel baseball!!⚾️❤️⚾️
• Neighbors put on a pop-up outdoor concert
• Started to renovate the house to get ready for baby in 6 months.
• We celebrated our daughters first birthday and our nieces 4th birthday
• Because I got to go to church to praise my Lord
• Family birthday party for me, 63
• 1st camping trip in the books. Ever reservation had been canceled.
• Sunrise kayaking on lake Michigan (from Algoma WI) this morning with my oldest daughter, and on a small lake with my youngest later in the day.
• Visiting family
• Finally got back to training our beautiful pitty and rescheduled our trip to New Orleans to visit Villalobos at the end of July.
• Kimberly Because it was my birthday!
• Was able to catch up on much need sleep.
• AT THE POOL!!!
• I spent Sunday with my bestie Tricia Faith!!
• My weekend was amazing because we finally got the payout for our flooded basement from insurance and our 2 oldest kids are just working on getting an apartment & move out finally.
• My weekend was amazing because I got to pick strawberries from the garden!!! We just planted them last year and they are coming in like crazy!!!!
• TQOTD: I was excited for Saturday night because I was going on a date with someone I met in a dating site. First date in 3 yrs as I just ended a 4 yr relationship this past November. Got to the restaurant and was not disappointed...until he started talking. He showed up slightly intoxicated!! He also had the same mannerisms as my ex-boyfriend that I just broke up with. Lol. At least I can laugh about it but he was a great big NO!!!
• We were finally allowed to have our grandson overnight. The parents are going through a separation/divorce and the momma has not been very nice
• TQOTD: my husband was gone camping. So I had the house to myself and it stayed clean and organized the WHOLE time and I got so much done.
• What made my weekend amazing was getting an ultrasound done yesterday for my second child :-)
• My weekend was amazing because i married the woman of my dreams.
• My weekend was amazing because it felt like I was human again. I’ve been working from home nearly three months and feel completely disconnected
• I had my dad over for dinner on Friday. Had not seen him since January. We had a nice dinner and hit a few golf balls in the back yard. Saturday we golfed 18 holes for the first time ever. My dad is almost 70, I’ve never golfed with him before. My moments with him are special. My parents divorced when I was five so I don’t get a lot of time with him, haven’t my whole life
• TQOTD. The weather alone made for an amazing weekend. I got a lot of housework done on Saturday and took a gorgeous walk on Sunday. Love, love, love
• We finally got to have a grad open house for our son! We also included his two best friends and had a joint open house for all 3 boys, bittersweet because one of the boys had to leave for the Marine's two weeks early because of covid. It was AWESOME because so many people came out to celebrate.... and we got to include our Marine with a stunt double. ;)
• TQOTD: A best friend invited me to hang out on Saturday with some people she knows. Had hamburgers, played Supersmash Bros with some guys, and the owner of the house let me try out his VR headset to play Beat Saber ✨✨
• Went up north to be friends property to camp, drink a lot of beer, and had a big ol bonfire. It was nice to go up to the country for the weekend.
• My sisters ex is a real dirt bag. My ex is cheating dirt bag. My has me blocked on social media and hers has her blocked. So we swapped phones and commented on a post and called them out for being shitty humans. It was amazing
