The lucky lady bought the ticket at the Family Fare, located at 240 South Lake Street in East Jordan.

She shared with the Michigan Lottery her reaction to seeing she had won.

“It’s been part of my routine for years to buy scratch off tickets once a week. The $1 million win was the first thing I scratched off on the ticket. I’m a pretty even-keeled person, so I didn’t have a crazy reaction and stayed calm for the most part. My daughter was with me at the time, so it was fun to be able to share that moment with her."

I can't believe that she was so cool and calm, I would have either had a heart attack or fainted from shock.

After cashing in the winning ticket at Michigan Lottery Headquarters she decided to take the cash option which is around $700,000.

With that money the first thing she said she was planning on buying is a new mattress.

Heck with that much money she better treat herself and get a California king mattress or one of those adjustable beds that adjusts to your body.

This lucky lady isn't the only one to win big recently playing the Michigan Lottery.

A Kent County woman who went out to get some late-night food stopped at a gas station and ended up buying a winning ticket worth a million dollars.
