Catching the Michigan vs MSU Game in Person Is More Affordable Than Ever
One of Michigan's biggest rivalries is happening this weekend, but it feels like people aren't feeling heated about seeing it happen.
Michigan and Michigan State Football will be facing off Saturday night under the lights in East Lansing at Michigan State University, with a 7:30pm EST kickoff. If you're planning to watch it from home, you can catch it on NBC sports, but if you're local- it might be more affordable than ever to catch it in person.
In spite of Michigan being ranked #2 right now, ticket Prices are seemingly crashing for the rival game. Currently on Seatgeek, which is their official ticket partner, there are tickets listed as low as $52 in the student section.
Meanwhile on other websites like stubhub, you can find tickets listed in the student section for $58 and tickets in section 120 for as low as $83, which is a record low for this normally sold out game.
Ouch, talk about a bruise to the ego of these two normally great universities. What is the reason for the crash?
The disappointing performance of Michigan State University is keeping people away. After they fired Mel Tucker earlier this season for sexual harassment allegations, the team has suffered without a permanent coach.
Meanwhile, other Michigan games this season are still selling for well over $200 a ticket, so if you're looking to see them this season, this still may be your best chance even if it's likely to be a shut out.
