A local person purchased a winning ticket in Kalamazoo this week and is now $5.46 million richer

$5.46M Lotto 47 Ticket Sold At MI Gas Station

The winning ticket was bought at the Speedway gas station, located at 3908 South Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo.

According to the Michigan Lottery, the winning ticket was from a game called Lotto 47.

For this game players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it.

For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Lotto 47 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $1.5 million in the nightly Double Play drawing

Winning Lottery Numbers

For the drawing that happened on Wednesday April 23rd one ticket matched all six numbers (13-25-30-35-38-46) to win the $5.46 million jackpot.

Michigan Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli shared that this isn't the only big Lotto 47 winner so far in 2025

"Winning a $5.46 million jackpot on a $1 ticket is an incredible return on investment! This big win is the second time in 2025 a lucky Michigander has become a millionaire thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Lotto 47 game."

When the winner comes forward they can chosen to remain anonymous and I wouldn't blame them one bit.
