A Kent County Man recently won $1 million playing the Michigan Lottery.

The 31-year-old man who has chosen to remain anonymous bought the winning Electric 100's instant ticket at a Cedar Springs Wesco.

The lucky winner shared with the Michigan Lottery how he won the $1 Million.

“I stopped at the Wesco station late one night to cash in a winning Lottery ticket. I won $20, so I put $10 in my pocket and bought one Electric 100s ticket. I scratched the ticket in the store and when I saw that I had won $1 million, I started screaming! It’s a good thing no one else was in the store, because they would have thought I was going insane!”

I would have started screaming too!

The man decided to take the lump sum cash option payment which ended up being $693,000.

With that money, he said he plans on buying a new car and putting the rest away in savings.
