Man Tries to Sneak Turtle on Plane By Disguising it as a Hamburger

I've heard of people trying to smuggle things through an airport but this is definitely a new one.

A man in China was about to board a flight to Beijing, last month, when security stopped him because of "odd protrusions" the x-ray machine detected. Those protrusions happened to be sticking out of a KFC burger the man had with him.

When questioned about it by the airport staff the man insisted that it was just a hamburger and not a turtle. He told them that there was "nothing special to see inside" of his luggage. But, eventually, officials found that the burger was actually a turtle.

So why did he try to smuggle a turtle? Because he wanted to travel with his beloved companion.

Much to his chagrin, he agreed to let a friend take care of his pet while he was away.
