Meet Aleigha – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

A lot can be said 3 1/2 year old Aleigha but one thing's for sure... she is beautiful! Aleigha is a medium-sized American Staffordshire Terrier who was a transfer into the Humane Society of West Michigan.

It's obvious Aleigha loves people and has a lot of energy. She will do great in any type of family (with or without kids) but she is energetic so you'll have to keep up with her. Aleigha is heartworm positive which means she should be on medication but shouldn't deter you away from adopting such a great dog! She will bring a lot of happiness into any home.

2015 was a great year for the Humane Society of West Michigan. 3,038 animals were adopted last year... up over 600 animals from 2014. Thank you West Michigan for showing your love for animals!
