Meet Butter – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

Butter [Christine George/Townsquare Media][/caption]If you're looking for a kitten to adopt, Butter is the one and he's at the Humane Society of West Michigan waiting to be taken to his forever home! He's a 3 month old domestic medium hair kitten with lots of energy. He's got a "Garfield-like color" and is super cute.

Today (6/8) & tomorrow (6/9) the Humane Society is having a $50 dog special on dogs 5 months and older! There is a surplus of dogs right now and the shelter is trying to get them adopted out so make sure to take advantage of this special!

Kat, from the Bissell Pet Foundation, was also in studio talking about the upcoming Block Tail Party on Tuesday, June 14th from 6-9pm on the lawn of Mangiamo! Restaurant in Grand Rapids. There will be a LOT of events for you and your 4-legged friend; including getting your dogs micro-chipped on site, a caricature artist, get your dog DNA tested to find out their breed, plus so much more!! Plus, there will be food and drinks provided by your favorite local restaurants and shops.
