Meet Hunter – Christine’s Pet of the Week!
If you're interested in Hunter you better get to him at the Humane Society of West Michigan before I do!
Hunter is a 9-year-old cat who was an owner-surrender because his previous owner was ill and didn't feel healthy enough to take care of Hunter the way he deserved. But that's where you (or me) come in! Hunter is super lovable and affectionate and will give you plenty of head-butts.
I had the chance to play with him for a few minutes and just in that amount of time he was cuddly and playful. As you can see, he's got a very silly personality :)
If that isn't enough, Hunter gets along great with other cats and he's FREE to adopt! So the reasons just keep adding up as to why Hunter would make a great addition to any home.
Spring is here! Which means kids will be out of school for a week so instead of having them sit around at home, get them signed up for Spring Break Camp at the Humane Society of West Michigan. The three-day [day] camp is from April 4th to 6th and for children ages 7 to 11. Only a few spots left so reserve your kid(s) spot by contacting JordAnn at jbush@hswestmi.org or calling 616.453.8900.
Kitten season is approaching so the humane society is going to be getting a lot of kittens and mothers with their babies. This is where your help is appreciated. If you've ever had interest in becoming a foster parent to a pet this is your chance. The Humane Society of West Michigan sets you up for success by providing you with all the materials needed to foster. You can get more info about fostering here.
