Meet Millie – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

Millie was transferred to the Humane Society of West Michigan about a month ago and I'm honestly surprised she's been there for that long because she has such a fun personality.

She is a 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix and She is very sweet and social and obviously very cute. Millie also gets along well with male dogs but if you do have a dog(s) at home, bring them into the humane society to do a dog-to-dog meeting.

If Millie is still available by Saturday then you can adopt her at a special price! This Saturday, 8/18, the Humane Society of W. MI is having a "Clear The Shelter" Adoption special from 11a to 4p.

• Adult dogs (5 months+): $145 (normally $195)
• Adult cats (5 months+): $10 (normally $15)
• Rabbits: $10

Puppies and kittens prices remain as is. And as always, senior cats and dogs (7 years+) are fee waived! All adoptable animals will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped. You can get more info here.

If you want first in line save yourself time by getting pre-approved before Saturday. That way you don't have to worry about the paperwork and you get to go in at 10 a.m.!
