West Michigan Man Scores $300,000 On Favorite Michigan Lottery Game
A West Michigan man recently won the top prize of $300,000 by playing his favorite scratch-off game.

The 46-year-old man from Van Buren County, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning $5 Safe Cracker Cashword ticket at the Broadway Shell in South Haven.
Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000.
He recently drove to the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing to cash in his winning ticket.

He shared with Michigan Lottery officials how he was completely in disbelief when he scratched the ticket and discovered his win, saying:
“I buy a few Cashword tickets a week because I like them and think they’re fun. When I scratched the ticket and saw I won $300,000, I had to double, triple, and quadruple-check it. When I was sure of what I was seeing, I had my wife look it over too. She also counted 10 words, so then we called the Lottery to verify the big win!”
This Van Buren County man isn't the only one to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.
A Grand Blanc lottery club won a million dollars playing the Powerball.
A Kent County woman who went out to get some late night food stopped at a gas station and ended up buying a winning ticket worth a million dollars.
