Michigan Man Finds $100,000 Jackpot Hidden in a Box at Home
Every time I hear a news story about someone in Michigan having a winning unclaimed ticket that is about to expire I freak out wondering did I have the winning ticket and throw it away?

For one Michigan man he actually had not one, but two winning lottery tickets just sitting around in a box for the past five months.
Perry Pendleton of Maybee shared with the Michigan Lottery the moment he realized he was a winner.
"I bought five Super Raffle tickets over the course of a few weeks and put them in a box since the drawing was a few months out. Just last week, I thought that I’d better check my Super Raffle tickets since I still hadn’t done that yet.
One of the tickets was a $100 winner and then to my surprise, one came up as a $100,000 winner! I thought to myself: ‘Is this real?’ I had to check the ticket three or four more times after that.
I told a few family members about the big win on April Fools’ Day, so I’m still not sure if they know it’s real. If not, they are about to!"
With his winnings Pendleton plans to save some, spend some and share some of it.
Perry Pendleton isn't the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.
A Grand Blanc lottery club won a million dollars playing the Powerball.
A Kent County woman who went out to get some late-night food stopped at a gas station and ended up buying a winning ticket worth a million dollars.
