A Michigan Man Scores A Life-changing $2 Million Lottery Win

Recently, it seems like everyone in Michigan is winning big on instant scratch-off tickets from the Michigan Lottery.

A woman won $1,000,000 after buying an instant ticket while grocery shopping a few weeks back, and a Michigan man whose usual ticket was sold out played a new game and won $500,000.

It appears the winning is continuing because a Michigan man who played his favorite game hit the top prize for $2,000,000.

Michigan Man Wins Big Playing Colossal Cashword Instant Game

The man in his mid 30's has chosen to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.

He bought the winning ticket at the USA 2 GO Quick Store in Brighton.

He talked with the Michigan Lottery about the big win:

“Colossal Cashword is my go-to game, I scratched the ticket right after I bought it and was excited when I got nine words. When I got the 10th word for a $2 million prize, I was in total shock. Winning is such a great feeling!”

 

 

I can only imagine what must have been running through his mind when he saw that he had, in fact, won $2,000,000

I would have either had a heart attack or pass out from the shock.

Thankfully, the winning man didn't have any of that happen and quickly took the winning ticket to Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing and decided to go with a lump-sum cash payment, which came out to around $1.3 million

He plans to use his new found fortune to pay off student loan debt and buy a new car.
