Wyoming Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run in which a 62-year-old man was killed Friday night.

According to a release from the Wyoming Department of Pubic Safety, at approximately  8:20 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022, officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a car on 32nd Street near Badger Avenue SW.

The victim, identified as 62-year-old Kenneth Turpeau from Wyoming, was found with critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Mr. Turpeau did not stop at the scene of the crash.

According to witnesses, the suspect's vehicle is a white or cream color, smaller-style SUV, which was last see driving south on Woodward Avenue. No other identifying features of the vehicle or suspect have been released.

Police say they will be out canvassing the area in hopes of gaining information to assist in solving this case.
