All too often we see the worst in a police officer’s day - when a fight, shooting or high-speed chase happens - so it’s also nice to see the other side of police work.

This is a People Doing Good for an animal. The South Haven Police department posted a video to their Facebook page of one of their officers going above the call of duty.

While on patrol Sunday, Ofc. Knizewski noticed a furry resident that was in need of a little help.

You see a rabbit was stuck in a fence (actually it’s probably a fence meant to keep him out…) so Ofc. Knizewski grabbed some wire cutters and was able to free the bunny… who then hopped off super quick once he was free.

All in a days work, right officer?
