Rockefeller Center Lights Its Christmas Tree in New York
Wheeeee! This really means the Christmas season has begun!
A 76 foot-Norway spruce was chosen as the Christmas tree for Rockefeller Center in midtown New York.
The tree originated in Connecticut, from where it took a 70-mile journey to New York's Manhattan borough.
The top of the tree is really what sets it apart. The star that tops the tree is a 9½-foot wide Swarovski crystal. Insane!
The rest of the lights are LED, and are pretty awesome looking as well.
The tree will be displayed until mid-January, when it will be removed and milled into lumber for Habitat for Humanity.
