Coronavirus takes another business in West Michigan.

After 28 years in business, the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Jenison, will not be reopening, much to the dismay of pet owners. The decision was made after considering the obstacles they'd have to overcome in what's going to become the new normal.

We need to keep both our students and your pet safe. Teaching students requires close supervision and timely communications. It will be impossible to achieve these objectives in the future. The new COVID19 safety protocols simply put your pet and our students at risk.

Although saddened, Paragon says they are proud of the several students who they've helped launch a career in West Michigan.

Thanks to Paragon’s rich history, there are plenty of skilled groomers in West Michigan. They are well-equipped to assist anyone who frequented the school for your pet’s grooming needs.

Paragon School taught students how to properly groom different breeds based on American Kennel Club standards.
