Donovan Long, a former anchor at Wood TV 8, has embarked on a new chapter in his career after announcing his departure from the station in August.

Having joined Wood TV 8 in July of 2019 from Knoxville, Tennessee, Long quickly made a name for himself as a co-anchor on the weekend morning newscasts and later on WOOD TV Daybreak alongside Teresa Weakley.

What Happened To Donovan Long At Wood TV?

In his farewell message shared on social media, Long expressed gratitude for the connections he made during his five years in West Michigan.

"This isn’t goodbye, as I like to think our paths will cross again someday. I am immensely grateful to have been a part of your lives and WOOD TV over the years"

Former Wood TV Anchor Donovan Long Lands New Exciting Job

Recently, Long updated his followers on social media about about his exciting new job.

Starting in December Long will join the team at Fox 6 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a Morning Anchor.

In his announcement, he conveyed enthusiasm for this opportunity and appreciation for the support he received from viewers during his time at Wood TV 8.
