The City of Muskegon has reached it's goal of raising $50,000 to construct a leashless downtown dog park.  The campaign's funding was greatly aided by a $25,000 grant from PetSafe.

PetSafe launched 'Bark for Your Park' in 2011 to help communities build off-leash dog parks all around the country.  Muskegon happened to be one of the 25 cities that were picked by PetSafe to receive funding for a new park!

The dog park is slated to start construction in 2017 on at the corner of W. Western Ave. and Shoreline Dr.  The dog park will feature large and small dog areas, pet waste stations, drinking fountains, dog agility equipment, and bench seating.
