Why? Because it's cute.

I have a love/hate relationship with the rodents in my yard, and I suppose this is one way to get them on my good side. Build them lawn furniture.

This little guy is adorable as he eats peanuts off his little table in a video posted by RyanCummingsTV in the Grand Rapids subreddit under the title "No Dining Restrictions In Walker"

In the comments Cummings reveals he bought the mini-table from a man in Muskegon who makes them for our furry friends. And I use the word "friends" loosely because the squirrels in my backyard and fat and cranky, and raid my garbage often for food.

Here's a link to the web site if you want to have squirrels dine at little picnic tables in your back yard.

Some of the comments for the video include folks reminiscing about squirrel friends they had when they were kids. Like this one:

I had a squirrel like this when I was a kid living in Rockford. He would climb up and down the slider door screen until we opened it up, then he would walk in like he owned the place and wait for us to give him some peanuts or peanut butter. His name was Chipper.

From experience I will tell you that it is NOT a good idea to let a squirrel in your home. EVER. I know they're cute but they can also do this. Yup. They're wild animals, and the key take away from that story is insurance ain't covering that squirrel mess.

Besides, squirrels are notoriously bad tippers.
