If Money Was No Object, What Would You Do This Weekend? – #TQOTD

I love Friday’s because it always reminds me of Connie. Every Friday we do a Flashback and TYPICALLY I can remember what she said or how we came up with the question. This one I do remember. We were daydreaming about winning that sweet sweet lotto money and how we would both spend a weekend in Italy if we were loaded. After much deliberation we also decided we would bring our spouses. Honestly, Connie said she’d bring Dan right away so I just said “I guess I’ll bring Alicia then” … whatcha gonna do.

TEXT QUESTION OF THE DAY:
If money was no object, what would you do this weekend?

• Fly to Scotland and soak up the environment and explore. Take in the entertainment, food, scenery, history…. All of it!
• Same thing we do every weekend, watch our kids race Motocross
• Not work!
• I would go across the country as I just found out I'm going permanently blind yesterday. If I had more than a week and I would travel the world as quickly as I could.
• Fish take me to Italy. That was literally my answer for tqotd
• Visit my sister, brother in law and nephew in Australia
• Hop on a plane headed to the American Virgin Islands
• Fly to the Maldives or anyplace tropical where the ocean glows at night. Just enjoy the beauty of it
• Buy the house of my dreams, 4 goats, 2 dogs and maybe some cows and donkeys.
• Visit the long beach in Roque Bluffs, Maine. Hit up the Blueberry Patch Motel. Soak up my original home state and it's raw nature. And heal my soul.
• Fly somewhere warm, sunny and sandy!
• Quit my job!!!
• Go to Jamaica
• Wouldn't it be fun to stock a truck with appliances, toys, food, gift baskets and just go where folks needed those things. Also, I would put a pool in my backyard!
• Fly down to Florida and sit on the beach all day.
• Probably take a vacation to a tropical island
• Fly to Texas to see my dad. He had a stroke 6 years ago and I haven't seen him in 3 years. Money's too tight to take a long weekend to go see him. I miss him so much
• Go visit my adult children out of state.
• Paris
• Head to the UP for some much needed relaxation.
• Go to Ireland but I'm gonna need more than a weekend
• Weekend trip to a tropical island with my husband! With a private chef!
• Go to get a mani-pedi in Charleston SC with my sister
• If money or Covid weren’t an issue, I’d go to Vegas.
• Go buy a new car
• If money was no option, I'd pay all of my bills and feel the stress go away.
• I'd take a certain guy and we'd go somewhere tropical and secluded where we could have fun
• Take a private jet to Jamaica
• Go cruising with my family, teaching my boys to drive a stick.
• Time travel back to the 1970's and go dancing at Studio 54. (Well, you did say money was no object, so I'm assuming I could employ a bunch of scientists to figure out time travel before the weekend begins).
• All inclusive vacation package to Ixtapa Mexico
• Travel with my family to Florida to spend time with my grandma and her husband (my kids have never met him)!
• Fly somewhere far away, where there are beaches and waves and pineapple and coconut cocktails.
• Same things I always like to do in Northern Michigan but add a little bling
• Go for an awesome drive with my husband, and totally make sure my grandchildren’s college was paid for.
• Fly to FL and visit my sister!!
• I woulllllldddddd fly To Sicily, Eat food be driving around.....Ha Ha Ha Ha
• I’d be on the next plane to see my sister in Ft. Myers, FL.
• Alaska
• Napa Valley Wine Tour
• Go to every garage and estate sale I could!!
• I would sleep in!
• I would buy my mom a pop up canopy/gazebo. She uses it to go to the flea market and set up a stand. Her old one broke. Going to the flea market is her way of making a little bit of extra income and going out and interacting with people.
• Fly to the coast to sit on the beach.
• Hike in Switzerland
• Since it’s just a weekend I would travel towards the Mackinac bridge and hit a casino!
• Buy one of the huge Lodges in Tennessee near the Smoky’s and relocate with my family and not tell a soul where we are....
• Ireland
• Buy a home in New Orleans & Curacao
• Fly to West Palm Beach and visit my daughter
• A trip to Microcenter
• Go up to mackinaw city and island and stay in the grand hotel
• Take my granddaughter, who will be 18 this weekend, to Georgia for an EVERYTHING VAMPIRE DIARIES weekend. I'd make sure the Salvatore brothers were there for grandma's viewing pleasure
• Leave for Mexico and while I was in Mexico have my whole house gutted and redone and not come home till it was finished
• fly to the Maldives or Costa Rica
• Go for a road trip
• Sleep
• We would be paying for our sewer repair. But unfortunately money is a problem
• What wouldn't I do is the better question...I don't even think I could narrow it down
• I would plan a road trip. Hubby would buy a new car for said road trip.
• Travel to the upper peninsula
• Backpack through Europe for the summer
• Go watch the NFL draft live in Ohio
• Take my husband and kids on a trip within state but a few hrs from home. Just a little getaway to have some fun.
• Fly somewhere far away, where there are beaches and waves and pineapple and coconut cocktails.
• Silver Lake dunes
• Travel to the Adler restaurant in Germany and eat dinner with our family there.
• Buy a retirement home in Hawaii
• Be happy finally!
• Go on vacation again!
• Either take a nap or random long car ride. 12 hrs minimum either way
• Buy a house on the beach in Florida and never come back

• I would go visit my friends in Mexico! It has been way too long!
• Get a new car
• Go on a very long road trip, but make sure that I would still listen to the station on the app. Did you know it was a free download?
• Buy a one way ticket to Arizona and never come back.
• Fly to another state to visit family that we miss.
• I would go to Mexico to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary a week early!
• I would take my kids to a store and buy out all the clothes and toys for kiddos. Then I’d take them to a homeless shelter and allow them to share the amazing news!
• A horse ranch on a tropical island
• Take the kids to Disney world!
• I would go to this wedding shower I am invited to on the other side of the state but I don't have money to get a gift and to travel this weekend! Still debating if I am going to go. But also. I would go to Disney ! Since it's just a weekend !
• Buy a new car…
• Luke would take a birthday cruise to the Caribbean for his 17th birthday today
• Build a backyard oasis we could enjoy all summer long!
• Fly to the Maldives with the whole family spending the weekend in a bunch of luxury huts in the water.. making memories.
• I'm already doing what I wanted to do this weekend and that is to fly to Virginia to be with my baby girl who's turning 20 tomorrow. I cant wait
• Never been, so what the heck, VEGAS BABY!!!
• Go to a white sandy beach where the temperature is over 100° and the only people that talk to me are asking what I would like to eat and drink. I'm far beyond overdue for a good vacation!
• I would rent a private Caribbean island and bring all my friends I haven't seen in over a year! Stuff would get weird!
• I found a flight to hawaii for $900 roundtrip...see ya
• Hire a car and drivers and go to Chicago for some major shopping
• Omg....I’d fly off and snuggs with my fav person...and I’d hired Bruno Mars to serenade us in the background. Fact. And then after we had all the balloon animals...I would have all the pizza, wine and chick fil a delivered to the room. Rinse and repeat.
