The 63-year-old woman from Wayne County was at the AAA Fuels on Dix Highway in Lincoln Park when she asked the clerk how many tickets were left for the Lady Luck 777 instant game.

When the clerk told her three were left in the roll, she said she would take them all.

That quick decision ended up making her a millionaire.

She shared with the Michigan Lottery how the magic moment happened.

“I scratched the tickets and saw I’d won on all three of them, but I didn’t scratch off the amounts. I scanned them at the store and the first came back as a $100 winner, the second a $50 winner, and the third came back with a message to file a claim at the lottery office. I asked the clerk what it meant, and he said I must have a big winner.

“I went out to my car and scratched the amount to find out I’d won $1 million! The first thought that went through my head was that I can live easier now.”

This lucky winner isn't the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.

A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.

And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
