Meet Aurora – Christine’s Pet of the Week!
There's no doubt in my mind that Aurora will find her forever home quickly! She is an absolute love who is full of personality and is ready to be adopted from the Humane Society of West Michigan.
Aurora is only 1-years-old but she has a great temperament who will do well with any family. She's playful and has energy but she also is the type of dog who will relax and chill with you. She's a Lab/Pitbull mix, about 40 pounds and has such a beautiful brindle coat. Her looks and personality are sure to win you over!
Before adopting Aurora, or any dog from the Humane Society of W. MI, make sure the transition is smooth for everyone involved, including if you have other dogs in the home. It's always encouraged to do a dog-to-dog meeting at the shelter just to get them acquainted and see how they interact with one another.
If you're wanting to adopt but not looking for the norm [dogs and cats], until July 31st the Humane Society of West Michigan is doing "name your own price specials" on guinea pigs.
And get ready to put in work this Saturday! On 7/29, Hurricane Fitness for Category 5 Camp will be donating 100% of their proceeds to the Humane Society. The workout will be held at Highland Park and will be a total body workout based around obstacles. It doesn't matter if you're advanced or a beginner, this ultimately is for a good cause (and to get you feeling a good). You can also bring a partner!
