I love reading stories about people who won the Michigan Lottery by playing special/lucky numbers or by following some kind of special routine that finally paid off big time.

This story is very interesting because the woman and man who won actually bought the winning ticket at the party store they own.

77-year-old Patricia Lange and her husband recently won $50,000 playing Club Keno numbers on May 25.

Thanks to the KICKER, the prize was multiplied to $100,000.

She recently made the trip down to Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing to collect their winnings and shared that special daily routine that helped them win the money.

“We are the owners of the party store, so every day we buy a Club Keno ticket while we’re there,” said Lange. “My husband bought this ticket and saw we’d won big while he was watching the drawings. He came home and woke me up, so I knew it must be important because he never wakes me up. When he told me we’d just won $100,000 on Club Keno, I couldn’t believe it! We were thrilled.”

These lucky winner isn't the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.

A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.

And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
